The hotel is in an ideal location and is in general clean and tidy. However during our stay there was refurbishment work going on which started early so no lie ins Additionally the lift was not working (I think due to the refurbishment) and as we were on the 6th floor this was an inconvenience

I know it is not typical in France, but I would have LOVED to have tea/coffee facilities, either in my room, or possibly a machine in the back of the LOVELY lobby are

We booked the hotel well in advance and then arrived and were told that we would have to go to another hotel. Having arrived at another hotel by taxi we were told they had no twin rooms which we had specifically asked for. It was awful and I wouldn't recommend your company to anyone. It put me as the team leader in the most embarrassing position.

OK re location, at present (re-furbing ongoing)does not reflect fully 3-star, more like 2 or 2 & a half. Normal prices (including breakfast) would be over the top; only worth considering if discounted or via good package-deal. We felt provision needed re fire escapes (if stairs not viable - hotel instruction in latter event "stay in room & await fire service" ! seemed access by fire service to some rooms problematical?)

The reception staff were lovely. we felt very comfortable and at home here.

Top Tip

Fab for access to the metro and seeing all the local sights. direct route to Disney. The underground/train system can be confusing but stick with it and ask for help at the hotel. We bought an 'orange' pass for five days for the adults and a cheaper kids pass - worth every penny! Do your best to speak french - they appreciate it! Next to the nearest McDonalds (one street away) there's a self service restaurant - fab food, very reasonable, big servings! Just go in, get a tray, fill it, pay and sit anywhere you like!

Nice room with air conditioning and a nice continental breakfast. Very close to everything you need, 10 mins walk to bus to Bouvais Airport, 2 mins to nearest Metro.

Couldn't fault this hotel. I agree with other comments I have read about the rooms being small and the plumbing a bit noisy but overall, we were very satisfied. Staff very pleasant and spoke English. Location for Arc de Triomphe/Metro excellent.

Top Tip

Local bars appeared to be VERY expensive. Many also close on Sundays. Remember that the Metro is the best way to get into the city and back - walking along the Champs Elysee is charming but it's a long way back after a day of sightseeing. Reasonably cheap bars and nice food on Rue St Denis (English football at the Frog & Rosbif and the Thistle Scottish bar)
