The hotel is in great location right on the Arc. However the room that we had was very small and decorated with dark depressing colours. It had no view apart from other room windows as it was in the central stack of the hotel. The beds were very narrow and I found myself sleeping right on the edge of the mattress. I requested a room change with a view and a bigger bed but was told that the hotel was full and that the bed in my room 302 was the largest type of bed in the hotel. So when booking do not stay here if you are a large person. I am over 6ft in height and weigh 15 stone. However the staff are friendly and the hotel position is fantastic and it is very clean. We did not stay in our room very much as Paris is a city to explore.

Top Tip

Get down for breakfast before 09:30 as all the hot food will be gone otherwise. If you do anything in this beautiful city have an early lunch on floor 9 of the Printemps shop in Haussman Boulavard a view to die for and your lunch as well. If you want to ascend the Eff Tower just for the view save yourself loads of time and go up the Montanapasse tower instead as it is as high and looks over to the tower. You can get up in a lift to the 56 floor which has a viewing platform and there is normally no wait.

Nice large room with seating area as well as beds, double balcony with view of Arc de Triomphe. Metro station immediately outside hotel. 1 minute walk to restaurants, banks, shops etc.

Carpets and towels are in need of replacment. Otherwise a nice little hotel in a wonderful location.
