Designed by Rena Dumas - architect designer for Hermes boutiques worldwide - this is an intimate hotel, housed in a 6-storey freestone building dating from 1890. The medium sized lobby features a small seating area and a contemporary lounge leading to the breakfast room. The pale wood floor is complemented by Hilton McConnico carpets and the walls are covered by original artworks. The refurbished, medium sized guest rooms are attractively decorated in pastel colours with Art Deco features. The white tiled bathrooms are in very good condition and are stocked with Pergolese toiletries. There is no restaurant in the hotel but the charming breakfast room is furnished with Philip Starck tables and colourful chairs.
